Audit Clerk

The Audit Clerk is responsible for the compilation and inputting of all daily revenue data.

Essential Functions:

• Input all information from the Revenue Control System reports into the Daily Revenue Report.
•  Input all promissory notes and towing information. Deposit and record all fees paid as well as printing of promissory note invoices for any     fees due.
• Consolidate all daily paperwork into folders for document storage.
• Print and distribute all daily and monthly consolidation reports for disbursement to the appropriate departments.
• Monitor and review revenue reports daily and verify that all information is accurate.
• Maintain open communication with the Revenue Supervisor on all aspects of revenue control and daily, advise the Revenue Supervisor of any problems encountered or anticipated which should be discussed or resolved.
• Monitor audit errors and issue discrepancy notices and coaching to Revenue Control System audit staff.
• Assist with the answering of customer inquiries on the telephone and check on messages from the previous day.
• All other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

 Requirements: 

• Post-high school education in accounting or similar courses of study. 
• Two years of directly related experience may substitute for advanced education
• Must demonstrate excellent skills detail customer service experience 
• Must have accurate math skills 
• Must have strong communication skills
• Must have demonstrated computer skills and experience with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets or accounting software and Outlook.
