What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Manager position at ABM US?
ABM Industries is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a Facilities Manager. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of one or more large commercial parking facilities in the downtown Salt Lake City, UT area.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service and assist parking patrons in a professional manner.
- Complete any required daily accounting reports in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot/repair minor equipment problems and schedule/coordinate facility maintenance projects with service vendors.
- Manage and administrate parking access control systems and parker database files.
- Foster and maintain excellent client relations.
- Implement company policies and procedures, including SOP, Audit and Safety programs.
- Additional tasks and projects as assigned by the District Manager.
Requirements:
- High School Graduate or GED
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Excellent customer service and client relations skills
- Computer proficiency with Windows, Excel and Word
- Excellent time management and leadership skills
- Parking experience preferred, but will train the right candidate.
- Minimum one (1) year of supervisory or management experience, preferably in a parking environment
Hourly Pay: $24.00 HR
