Job Summary:
ABM is looking for a Zip Driver, for a large airline client at SFO Intl Airport. Our agents service a variety of aircrafts per day. If you enjoy being around airplanes, working in a team and safety-first environment, then this role is perfect for you!
The Zip Driver is responsible for loading galley equipment onto a truck, driving the truck to various types of aircraft and loading the equipment. All activities must be accomplished according to customer guidelines and while adhering to safety regulations. The Zip Driver interacts with the airline representatives at the aircraft, therefore, must be customer service oriented.
- Driving independently with vehicle full of provisions.
- Taking care of last-minute calls on aircrafts that are missing any supplies such as toilet paper, blankets, pillows, kits, etc.
- Taking care of assignments/ requests from UA. Such as clean ups due to passenger spilling a drink, request for extra supplies, etc.
- Ensuring to set up all supplies in the morning for the teams such as lavatory supplies, inflight kits, Lav bags, and tote bags (blankets).
