Responsibilities: - Dispatch service technicians to customer locations based on scheduling and urgency - Utilize GPS and transportation management systems to efficiently assign and track technician routes - Analyze service requests and determine appropriate technician skillset for each job - Coordinate with shipping and receiving department to ensure timely delivery of parts and equipment - Communicate with customers to provide updates on technician arrival times and service status - Manage fleet of vehicles, including scheduling maintenance and repairs - Maintain accurate records of service calls, technician availability, and customer information - Collaborate with supply chain team to optimize inventory levels and minimize freight costs Experience: - Previous experience in service dispatching or related field preferred - Familiarity with GIS (Geographic Information System) software and AS400 system is a plus - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with technicians and customers - Knowledge of transportation management principles and practices This position offers competitive pay and benefits.
