Groundskeeper

We are looking for a highly skilled Groundskeeper to maintain the exterior landscaping of USD 475. The successful candidate will be expected to keep all grounds, trees, and bushes in their proper place and to ensure that all spaces are well maintained.

This position requires a high level of organization and communication skills, as well as teamwork and the ability to perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities :

• Mowing, string-trimming, edging, tree removal / trimming, leaf blowing, mulch install / removal, plant install / removal, snow removal, leaf removal, pesticide application, irrigation, maintaining equipment regularly.
• Maintain the appearance of the grounds to keep the school administration satisfied.
• Ensure that all areas are ready for events.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
• Maintain grounds in bad weather conditions.
• Have knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to groundskeeping.

26-50 lbs. : Occasionally - weights moved 25 to 50 Yards at a time

51-75 lbs. : Occasionally often with assistance - weights moved several yards at a time
