Position Summary Details
$15.30/hr * Maintain an orderly flow of passengers and taxicabs and oversee the movement and expeditious loading of Taxis.
Responsibilities
- * Prevent soliciting of customers.
- * Maintain an orderly taxi line ensuring that all drivers are at the taxi stand line remain within the immediate proximity to their vehicles.
- * Advise customers of rules and regulations pertinent to the trip including the correct fare and meter rates to their destination.
- * Cooperate with Port Authority Police, Airport and/or PABT Supervisors and taxi commission agents in connections with the performance of the dispatcher duties provided herein.
- * Be familiar with, adhere to and enforce Taxi and Limousine commission rules and regulations.
- * When required issue Taxi Dispatcher program violation form against taxi drivers for violation of Taxi and Limousine commission rules and regulations.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten year work history if available
Preferred Qualifications:
- Customer Service Experience
