CNC Drafter/Programmer

Job Description: CNC Programmer- (Enroute\G-code)

Company & Position Overview:

Castle Architectural Metals, is currently in search of an experienced CNC Programming\Drafting professional with proven industry knowledge and experience in Exterior cladding systems. This role will require the candidate to create, read and/or modify existing drawings in support of Castle projects using Autocad/CNC Technology to produce fabrication drawings and programs for the

Metal panel fabrication dept..

Key Responsibilities:

• Min.1-2 years Knowledge and/or Experience of Drafting/CNC Programming
• In the metal panels\cladding industry (preferred)
• Manage the updates of system records with Drafting information/dates, such as eSub & other locations that may contain drawings, etc.
• Assists with process for Material Take-Off and sheet optimizations.
• Assists with the Input of field sizes into shop drawings

Expected Qualifications:

• Associates (Degree a Plus ) or related field experience acceptable. (Salary will be based on experience TBD in an in-person interview).
• Must be able to read blueprints and shop drawings.
• Knowledge of construction and fabrication methods (a Plus ).
• Ability to meet deadlines with Attention to detail.
• Experience with Computer‐Aided Design (CAD) System (Required).
• Experience with CNC Programming using Enroute software or similar preferred
• Ability to multitask, prioritize with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.

SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE:

• AutoCAD (a Must!)
• CNC Programming (a Must!)
• eSUB Project Management Software (Preferred)
• Bluebeam Editing Software (a Plus )
• MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc. (Required)

Schedule:

Job Type: Full Time

• Monday- Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm or 8:00am-4:30pm
• 8-hour shift
• Day shift
