RN House Supervisor FT Nights Position Summary
Single departmental function supervision and/or shift supervision in accordance with hospital policy. Responsible for the daily administration of tasks, scheduling and problem solving related to assigned areas. Position provides leadership to the hospital staff in the absence of the Department Directors and Administration. Responsible for the coordination of care resources, problem resolution, adequate staffing and communication to Department Directors and Administration with issues of concern. Serves as an administrative representative for the hospital. Serves as liaison with Staff , Management and the Medical Staff.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Demonstrated professional development over time. Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Computer skills preferred. Ability to effectively implement change and manage departmental budgets. Must be able to independently make decisions in high-stress situations. Minimal degree of supervision required.

Qualifications:
THE RN HOUSE SUPERVISOR FT NIGHTS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate from a Nursing School.
PREFERRED EDUCATION: BSN
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Three years of relevant clinical nursing experience.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Management experience and one year supervisory experience preferred.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona. CPR required and ACLS required or must obtain within six months of hire.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATION: PALS.
