Glass Installer

Looking for an opportunity to grow with the company? ABS Facility Services is a furniture installation, relocation and services company established in 2000. We are seeking Glass Installers / Glaziers interested in joining our Vegas team. We are looking for talented individuals with experience, a positive attitude, good work ethics, and desire to excel.

What you will be doing:

• Installing metal or wood frameworks for doors, windows and walls followed by the glass
• Glass and framework handling
• Reading and Interpreting blueprints
• Documenting and tracking job paperwork
• Load and unload products and furniture from trucks.
• Utilize dollies & panel carts for product movement.
• Stage furniture at the jobsite in preparation for the installation.
• Maintain communication and follow directions from the Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of framework and glass handling
• Proper use of cutting equipment
• Advanced knowledge of furniture installation preferred.
• Willingness to be trained and excel through job levels.
• Must have excellent work ethic and can-do mindset.
• Individual with good customer communication skills

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 90 lbs.
• Good balance for ladder and scaffold work
• Must be able to stand, walk and squat for long periods of time.
• Must have good attitude, work well in a team setting, ability to learn and retain information

Job Requirements:

• Current and Valid DL (Providing Driving Record is a plus)
• Driving company vehicles -Not Required-Must first be cleared through our insurance carrier and must be 25 years or older to be a driver.
• Ability to work on military bases, police stations and government facilities that require background clearance.
• Reliable transportation to work.

• Starting pay $21/hr, negotiable with C-8 License
