POSITION SUMMARY

Abstrax is seeking an expert ERP Software Specialist with Acumatica experience to install and maintain enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions. This role is responsible for determining ERP needs, designing customized ERP solutions, and integrating ERP technologies with existing systems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with senior management and conduct business process analysis to determine ERP needs.
  • Interact with senior management, technical resources, and customers (as needed) to design, implement, and maintain security structures for delivered and customized applications.
  • Manage all third-party applications including those connected to or operating independently of Acumatica: PowerBI, CRM, shipping, and formulation software.
  • Analyze existing infrastructure and perform IT system enhancements.
  • Write customized programs and scripts and configure ERP applications.
  • Develop user-friendly functionalities and interfaces.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and resolve issues to optimize performance.
  • Provide technical support and train ERP end-users.
  • Prepare development progress updates and document ERP processes.
  • Adhere to company policies and industry regulations.
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest ERP (industry) upgrades and offerings.
  • Design and manage test databases and ensure integrity and accuracy.
  • Run product tests, record, and compare the test results with expected results.
  • Maintain organized record keeping of all files, tests, records etc.
  • Generate historical analysis of test result records.
  • Review and adhere to quality system documentation process.
  • Continually assess required quality system documentation. Update as needed.
  • Support configuration management tasks on projects.
  • Provide systems and hardware performance and capacity planning support.
  • Analyze and resolve security and access problems related to delivered and customized software applications.
  • Write and maintain documents related to security design, implementation, and practices.
  • Assist CFO to train and instruct users with respect to their specific day-to-day problems, execute corrective action when necessary.
  • Record and print problem-solving solutions to end users as necessary.
  • Support all managers in business process improvements, implementing best practices and fully utilizing ERP system capabilities.
  • Assist CFO in various projects to improve productivity of business processes.
  • Conduct routine periodic activities in ERP system as directed by the CFO to provide supporting information for organization and management.
  • Support administration of ERP security and permissions for ERP users.
  • Collaborate with intradepartmental, IT, and Quality teams to test ERP modules.
  • Ensure ERP system meets business requirements and goals and fulfills user requirements.
  • Monitor and identify problems in any of ERP system daily.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong knowledge of ERP development tools, coding languages, and business processes.
  • Proficient with Acumatica, Microsoft Office Suite, or related software.
  • Great organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and communication abilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or similar preferred.
  • At least 2 years’ experience as an ERP specialist in a related industry.
  • Background in business administration, project management, or a related field will be advantageous.

  • Successfully complete a background check
