What are the responsibilities and job description for the LATIN TEACHER position at AC Reynolds High School?
Percent Employed: 100% - Reynolds High School wants to rebuild a strong Latin program. As such, in order for full-time employment status, candidates are teaching one to two sections of English. Through strong recruitment efforts, the hope in the very near hope is to have this individual teach Latin all day, both semesters. Equally, the expectation of this candidate will be to grow A.C. Reynold's Junior Classical League (JCL) student organization.

Pay Range (Permanent positions): State Teacher Salary [8.5% - 16% local supplement]
Position Purpose: Under the general supervision of the School Principal, the Latin Teacher provides specialized instruction for the purposes of developing Latin proficiency in speaking, reading and writing while utilizing appropriate differentiated techniques and strategies. This position is split between ELA and Latin.
Minimum Degree Level: Bachelor's Degree (click here for more info about Master's pay) Alternative Licensed Pathways: If you are offered a position with BCS, our licensure specialist can share information on the 1-year Emergency License and later work with you to convert this to a Residency License. Qualifications:

- 2.7 GPA (undergraduate coursework or post-graduate coursework)
