Summary:
Using Fiserv Web Capture and Navigator software, the Mobile Deposit Review Clerk will accurately review and process Mobile check deposits. Once reviewed, it will be the Clerk’s responsibility to determine whether the deposited funds are made immediately available to the client or if a delay in funds would be required, based on the client’s banking relationship.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Monitor Web Capture for incoming customer deposits.
- Examine deposited checks for endorsements.
- Verify check information such as dates, bank names and legal amounts.
- Identify payee and account holder.
- Review deposit and determine if a delay should be placed on the item.
- Send client email notification of delayed deposit, if necessary.
- Verify deposited check in Evision.
- Ensure work premises constitutes a safe work environment that promotes positive bank image, including regular inspection for and remediation of any hazardous conditions; regular maintenance and cleaning of premises; adherence to all posting requirements in jurisdiction, including human resources and compliance postings; and provision of comfortable and appropriate space for associates to conduct banking business.
