Medical office looking for the right person to join our team.
The position we are looking to fill requires a person with excellent customer service, attention to detail, with positive attitude. Previous experience in a medical office preferred. Orthopedic or Podiatry experience a plus
Our new team member should also be self motivated, flexible, dependable, and detail oriented. Able to work independently or with the team, and able to motivate others.
We have five locations Southlake, Argyle, Keller, Hurst and Flower mound.
The position hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm M-F.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
- Customer Service face to face and over the phone
- Prepping exam rooms
- Taking vitals
- Rooming patients and fitting with supplies
- Follow provider documenting visit with the patient into the EMR.
- Scribe for provider
- Taking patient charts back to providers
- Calling on referrals
- Authorizations for upcoming appointments
- Send orders and prescriptions
- Pre-Certing supplies
- Prepping for the upcoming appointments (get results for tests done or notes to prepare for appointment)
- Data entry
- Verifying insurance
- Answering multiple phone lines
- Front office duties include check-in and check-out
- Setting appointments
- Training in all areas of the clinic to cover as needed
- Open to travel to other offices to cover if needed
