Academy's Digital Product team is building competencies in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to help drive quality. The UAT Analyst for Digital Experience plays a critical role in this effort for the planning, managing and reporting of all aspects of the UAT test strategy. Serving as the last phase of testing in the release process, the UAT Analyst will make sure our software can handle all required tasks in real-world scenarios, according to business and technical specifications. You will also coordinate and oversee the release-related test execution and reporting for all UAT activities for the business, within an agile framework. You will bring clarity to requirements, communicate any potential issues and risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensure identified defects are properly triaged and test the resolution for all issues and defects assigned for testing.Job Description:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Work Experiences:
Minimum 2 years of QA/UAT testing experience or work in eCommerce/Omnichannel
Working knowledge of agile processes
Working experience with Jira, Confluence and Sterling Order Management
Detailed understanding of CSS, HTML and basic knowledge of java script
Skills:
Ability to create UAT test plans, test cases, and test scripts for self and give feedback to others
Able to create and model test profiles and scenarios for focused functional testing
Showing functional knowledge of assigned applications for testing and working business knowledge of assigned business unit
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects and recommend prioritization to management
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Working knowledge of QA lifecycle (unit, functional, SIT, E2E, UAT, regression, perf)
Ability to solve complex problems with the help of a manager
Strong understanding of the differences between agile and waterfall delivery models
Working knowledge of databases and SQL
Responsibilities:
Participate in daily scrums and grooming sessions related to signed projects
Able to serve as UAT test lead of customer-facing projects with minimal direction
Lead the creation of all testing scenarios from epics, user stories, and BRDs
Lead the UAT testing efforts for product features, enhancements, and/or projects to ensure the overall quality of the given scope of the application and be a part of the workflow from intake to release to production and disposition of any defects associated with the release
Provide daily updates on defects, roadblocks, and other impediments to the product team, team lead
Demonstrate regular active involvement in grooming sessions to clarify requirements
Coordinate with support, customer care, and other business partners and stakeholders to ensure thorough E2E validation of projects is carried out
Participate in deployment cycles for assigned projects and sprints
Partner with User Experience to ensure UI layout and feature flows are as intended per design
Manage escalations to the product team which is impacting the release/product launch
Develop a thorough understanding of the Academy's policies, procedures, and safety rules
Duties may change, and team members may be required to perform other duties as assigned
