EMDR Counselor

Essential Functions:

• Assess patients for appropriateness for trauma treatment.
• Provides trauma therapy to patients according to the protocol for treatment.
• Documents all trauma assessments and intervention activities in patient records.
• Facilitate assigned trauma groups and assist with modifying problem behaviors.
• Prepare individualized treatment plans and run one on one trauma interventions.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in social or health services field, with six plus years' experience in counseling field  OR
• Bachelor's degree in other field with eight plus years in the counseling field  OR
• Master's degree in social or health services field, with four plus years' experience in counseling field. 
• License/Certifications:  LCSW, LPC, LCAS EMDR or Trauma Based

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to work well with male and female adult (18 )  patients with Chemical dependency and Mental Health disorders
• CPR and CPI certification (training offered onsite)
• Teamwork and excellent customer service
