Acara Solutions, a premier provider of recruiting and workforce solutions has teamed up with the Top Semiconductor company in Portland Metro, to hire multiple positions for Abatement Assemblers.
Salary | Schedule:
Pay Range | $20 per hour (DOE)
Day Shift | 7 am to 3:30 pm (Monday thru Friday)
Location | Hillsboro, OR
The Abatement Assembler will build and assemble a system or component using engineered drawings and documented requirements. The assembler is required to meet the build standard as defined in the assembly procedures and maintain a continuous throughput in their area of responsibility.
Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
1. Assemble and build systems in line with the daily production plan - focusing on quality and output targets.
2. Maintain a safe and clean work area.
3. Follows assembly instructions and procedures to meet output quality requirements.
4. Support the training of team members and collaborate to drive improvement and efficiency.
5. Maintaining a good working relationship with department colleagues and the supporting departments.
6. Communicate and seek guidance where there are errors or difficulty in build.
7. Perform quality work checks to ensure the assembly meets quality standards.
8. Light assembly of components ranging from small fittings, piping to light metal framework.
9. Requires standing for most of the day and will include work at floor level as well as atop a ladder.
10. Ability to climb a ladder to reach top locations on assemblies
11. Ability to work with minimal supervision
12. Knowledge and experience of the principles of electrical or mechanical component constructions and assembly, dependent on assigned area
Required Skills/Qualifications:
High School Diploma | GED Equivalent or 2 Years verifiable Assembly Experience in lieu of HSD/GED
2 Years Assembly Experience
Read and interpret engineered drawings and diagrams
Experience with hand tools and small power tools
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Electromechanically inclined or experienced with electrical component constructions and assembly
