Acara Solutions is looking for a Buyer with MRO and Tooling experience for one of our medical device manufacturing clients in Orchard Park, NY.
Job Duties:
- Processing Purchase Orders
- Creating Maintenance Requisitions
- Managing Kanban cards
- Following up on supplier shipments (expedites, tracking details for plant)
- Past due Purchase Orders
- Purchase Price Negotiation
- Supplier Quality documents/ Approved Supplier List
- Credit Card/ P-Card Management (Receipts processed)
- MSC Tooling min/max settings
- Order tooling as required; establish acceptable Kanban quantities
- Keep work area organized and clean
- Invoice discrepancies for the plant
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Technical School or College Diploma.
- Able to read and understand blueprints
- Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (esp. Excel)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to use ERP systems (Oracle a plus)
- 2 years purchasing or production planning experience
- Experience with mechanical tooling and MRO products a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
