What are the responsibilities and job description for the CMM Programmer position at Acara Solutions?
Acara solution is looking for a CMM Programmer for our client located in Fairfield, CA
- Responsible for maintaining Gage Calibration and maintenance program
- CMM Operation and part verification to support the quality system as necessary
- Perform annual validations / PPAP as required
- Perform routine inspections, dimensional studies, and investigations, as necessary
- Participate, support, and lead in data collection for problem solving teams
- CMM Programming using PC DMIS.
Required Skills / Q
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years' manufacturing experience
- Minimum of 3 years' PC DMIS programming experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience in CMM Operation
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience with PPAP creator and/or Step Ahead an asset
- Understanding of Control Plans, FMEA's, Flow Diagrams, and In-Process Inspection
- Knowledge of GD&T, SPC, Gage R&R, and gage use
- Ability to work both days and afternoons
- CMM Program maintenance after programs and set up are established
- Organizational skills to maintain CMM programs and gage calibration in compliance with Quality department and QMS procedures and requirements
- Understanding of problem solving and root cause analysis
- Detail oriented and able to work with minimal supervision
- Able to solve problems utilization TQPS methodology
- Ability to speak and write in English and act as a liaison between production and quality.
