Machine Operator
Duties:
- Work from schedules, production orders, prints, and specifications.
- Verify parameters of operation of an oven, lubrication machine, coiler, and other equipment are within the required parameters and customer specifications.
- Operation of multiple control panels to ensure proper operation.
- Perform or assist with any departmental operations, as required, or directed to maintain workflow or respond to emergency conditions.
- Assist in the process of examination and quality documentation.
- Assist in equipment validations, safety, and quality audits.
- Able to operate a computer efficiently for data entry.
- Operation of various transportation equipment (cranes, fork-lift, powered stackers)
- Able to work in a non-air-conditioned shop environment. Hot in the Summer, cold in the Winter.
- Able to work in a team environment reacting to production conditions and routinely changing job functions.
- Can work overtime including weekends. Scheduled days off could fluctuate.
- Able to keep up with normal production requirements while using proper body mechanics and working safely.
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures
- Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition by 5 S standards.
- Requires the ability to perform all duties within the limitation of the standard methods and procedures, and by strict adherence to EHS, quality, and productivity requirements.
