JOB SUMMARY

The Billing Specialist is responsible for reviewing patient accounts, insurance information, authorizations and referral documents for any errors or incomplete data. Reviewing and scrubbing claims for accuracy. Understanding insurance billing submission and have knowledge of each payer and state, in order to ensure that our Billing Services are provided in an efficient and effective manner.

EDUCATION

Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred: College training in related field and Certified Medical Billing/Coding

Clearing House Knowledge Procedure & Diagnosis Codes Knowledge

Billing Software Knowledge How to research claim information

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
