Key Responsibilities:

• Develop long term, holistic category strategy that enables the category management team to execute on multiple procurement capabilities, including supplier relationship management, business partnering, strategic sourcing, value creation, demand management, innovation, and supplier diversity.
• Collect, synthesize, and interpret best in class market intelligence to shape the category strategy, coordinating with SMAs as needed.
• Identify, prioritize, plan, and execute initiatives to deliver cost savings and other types of value ex. revenue uplift, risk reduction, innovation to the business.
• Develop executive level communication materials to gain strategy buy in from procurement and business unit leadership.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the category management team on their procurement maturity journey, including proactively identifying other areas for Accenture to support.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of Strategic Sourcing
• Minimum 10 years of Category Management
• High School Diploma or GED

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington as set forth below.
