As part of our Data & AI group, you will lead technology innovation for our clients through robust delivery of world-class solutions. The work:
Data Governance professionals define strategies and develop/deliver solutions and processes for managing enterprise-wide data throughout the data lifecycle from capture to processing to usage across all layers of the application architecture. A professional in this position within Accenture has the following responsibilities:
- Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
- Understands and contributes to the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to organization goals.
- Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems.
- Primary upward interaction is with client directors.
- Will interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture.
- Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance.
- Decisions often impact the team in which they reside.
- Manages medium sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.
Willing to travel up to 100%
What you need:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience implementing Data Governance programs, including conducting data governance maturity assessments, developing data governance frameworks, and providing governance process recommendations to clients.
- At least 1 end to end implementation of a Data Governance Strategy or Roadmap.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience analyzing and implementing Data Management solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (minimum of 12 years), or an Associate's degree with a minimum of 6 years of equivalent work experience.
Bonus points is you have:
- Axon or Collibra or Purview Specialist Certification is desirable
- Familiarity with Data Stewardship activities.
- Technical experience and knowledge in Master Data Management and Data Quality.
- Functional familiarity with one or more key master entity/domain such as Individuals (Consumer, HCP, Patient, Employee…), Organizations (Customer/Client, Supplier…), Product, Locations, Assets etc. and the challenges typically involved in implementing MDM for that entity/domain.
- Experience with Data Architecture and Data Integration.
- Experience with Data Quality tools to profile, cleanse, standardize and enrich data.
- Experience using Generative AI is a plus
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.
