The Work
The primary responsibility of this role is to be a value architect in medium-sized to large opportunities involving Apps maintenance, Systems integration/Apps development and Apps-Infra support engagements, with the ability to individually create Solutions leveraging deep solutioning and delivery experience in one or more areas, while being able to develop these in a collaborative basis with the client including advising/co-creating the solutions.
Role Expectations
Architect the technology solution
Represent the solution in conversation with Operating Group leadership and sales team, senior client buyers and functional owners
Drive the necessary Technology Delivery sign off on solutions with proper input from the Operating Groups on client business objectives, industry, risk assessment, budget and preferences
Work with the Operating Group sales team and Subject Matter Experts as required during the sales process; communicate/collaborate with delivery organization(s)
Promote the use of standards in solutions by coordinating with Legal and Commercial and directing Corporate Development Transaction Services
Collaborate with the Operating Groups to provide input to Terms and Conditions, and in some cases, be accountable for specific contractual terms and conditions
Work with Technology leadership to identify Point of Contact for delivery. Where appropriate, lead stabilization efforts on client deals
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
Here's What You Need
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Technology Environment with a strong focus on outsourcing and/or systems integration solutions.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Solution Planning and Deal Shaping for Oracle (EPM preferred)
Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering with expertise in at least 1 current technology (Oracle, SAP, Workday, Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud, etc)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
Bonus points if you have:
Knowledge of Oracle Cloud or Oracle PaaS for SaaS
Expertise/Experience in AO/AD/SI and ability to give an Industry view of application portfolio/application transformation.
Very good interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to influence and build relationships with key stakeholders.
Good understanding of the application and infrastructure ecosystem in terms of Products and Technologies.
Ability to understand client business and technology drivers- business IT alignment.
Strong capability to estimate, size, and come up with dependencies/assumptions in solutioning.
Ability to work across levels at the client; exposure to NA geography is a good additional skill
Strong aptitude to be an individual contributor.
Experience and exposure in collaborative technology solutioning including client workshops, joint solutioning sessions, and co-creation sessions.
Expertise on Application Maintenance /Systems Integration/ Application Development Solutioning.
Delivery experience in AO/ SI and Infrastructure. Delivery either as client-facing or offshore accountable leads.
Expert in formulating the solution storyline, ability to collaborate in creating client value propositions, Product/Concept selling, Pre-sales/Solution Architecting, Executive Presence.
Experience in one or two major industries (utilities/chemicals/oil-gas, consumer goods/manufacturing/retail/pharma/life sciences, comms media and technology, health and public services, financial services).
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below.
