As a Principal Director, you will be part of the Data & AI team supporting the Resources & Industrial Industry teams. The team supports the application of data and analytics towards addressing supply chain and operations challenges at large companies in the Natural Resources, Utilities, Energy, and Industrial industries. We are supply chain and operations analytics experts that have the insights and capabilities to transform leading organizations and help them navigate in the ever-changing landscape they operate in.
You will bring to this role a deep understanding of the application of data and analytics to drive business value through the supply chain, as well as how it aligns with business strategies. You will leverage this understanding to deliver Supply Chain and operations transformational programs in the areas of Demand Planning, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Performance, Distribution, Warehousing, Manufacturing, and Packaging operations.
The role is a blend of defining client outcomes at strategic and executional levels. You will oversee multiple projects, function as a Data & Analytics project manager for large transformations and are responsible for building new and maintaining strong client relations. You will lead with data-driven insights to co-create and implement technology-enabled, disruptive strategies and solutions that unlock value and drive growth for clients. You have the ambition to continuously develop your industry knowledge, your advisory and analytics skills, and are expected and challenged to do so. As Principal Director, you will also actively pursue business development opportunities and have an active role in developing thought leadership and point of views on key developments in supply chain and operations analytics for these industries.

Role & Responsibilities
You are responsible for the development of predictive, prescriptive, and generative models and the generation of data-driven insights to solve industry-specific supply chain and operations problems. Your objective would be to re-imagine the future of the industry, and the next generation of supply chain analytics solutions. Your role will require the supervision of the extraction, wrangling and enrichment of data from one or multiple sources, online or offline. Moreover, you’ll be responsible for development, training and validation of mentioned models, and the visualization of the data and model results through dynamic dashboards. Besides you will have an important role on sales and proposals
Originate and develop business opportunities related to supply chain and operations analytics
Become a thought leader by developing innovative solutions and contributing to the creation of points of view on re-usable material
Mentor and train junior team members to increase our cohesion and drive as a team
Outline and structure the project tasks and optimal approach from a detailed understanding of client’s problem statement and their specific business requirements
Understand supply chain applications of statistical analysis, mathematical programming, and generative analytics
Articulate and defend analytics solution in front of Business and Technical Stakeholders
Supervise management and manipulation of data sets, including variables definition, performing calculations and summarizations, and creating solutions to address client business needs
Demonstrate a high degree of ownership, accountability for your output and commitment to the task
Support Management team on client proposals and other sales activities
Work collaboratively and effectively with offshore development teams and provide guidance to ensure quality deliverables
Ability to travel up to 100%.
Basic Qualifications:
minimum of 10 years of demonstrable supply chain analytics experience)
minimum of 10 years of experience managing data-driven projects, programs or initiatives in large supply chains and/or operations
10 years of experience with delivery methods for industrialization of mentioned projects, as well as a working understanding of what data science, data engineering and data analysis methodologies are for supply chain processes.
minimum of 10 years of experience in applying predictive, prescriptive, and generative analytics to supply chain and operations
minimum of 10 years of experience in cloud platform, Big Data, and high-level programming languages (such as python or R) project delivery will also be taken into consideration.
minimum of 10 years of resources and Industrial industry experience including Natural Resources, Utilities, Energy, and Industrial industries
minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain and operations data as well as information systems such as: supply chain planning systems, automation systems, MES/DCS, machine sensorization, predictive maintenance, line scheduling, OEE or equivalent metrics, quality processes, yield optimization, etc.
