Key Responsibilities:
This role requires the candidate to be onsite at the client office 2 days a week in Jacksonville, FL.
As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high quality software applications using Scala. You will work closely with the development team to design, develop, and implement software solutions that meet the needs of the business. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the software is delivered on time and within budget. You must have advanced proficiency in Scala. Having advanced proficiency in Java will be advantageous. Additionally, you should have advanced proficiency in C Programming Language, Apache Hadoop, Relational Database Management System RDBMS , and Python Programming Language .
Design and develop software applications using Scala.
Collaborate with the development team to ensure that software solutions meet business requirements.
Ensure that software is delivered on time and within budget.
Maintain and support existing software applications.
Conduct code reviews and ensure that code is of high quality.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year experience with Scala
Minimum of 4 years experience with programming language C
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with RDMBS, Apache Hadoop and Kafka
Experience with Autosys, Shell Scripting, and Jenkins
Experience with JAVA Full Stack
