Job Description:
Accenture Federal Services (AFS) has an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and accomplished mid-level Software Developer to join our team. As a Software Developer, you will work closely with the other Developers on the team to support business goals and to help ensure AFS products are released in a timely manner.
Responsibilities include:

Translate software requirements into workable programming code, utilizing React, Redux, and Typescript

Make strategic UI component and framework decisions related to design and usability as well as features and functions
-
Design and develop the User Interface, taking it from inception through the development lifecycle implementation for usage by our customers (both external and internal)
-
Communicates with other developers, generates UI code, and participates in the integration of the UI with the middle-tier APIs
-
Work to provide software development support to meet requirements set by the client
-
Work in and Agile environment, maintaining Jira tickets, attending Scrum meetings, and updating Kanban board as required

Investigates, identifies, and resolves code issues logged internally by QA, team members, or end users

Conduct design and code reviews

Develops and maintains documentation
Here's what you need:
-
1 year of experience developing JavaScript professionally – preferable experience with popular JS frameworks/libraries like React, Vue.js, Angular, Next.js, or Backbone.js

2 years of experience with fundamental skills - HTML, CSS (or SASS), Javascript (or Typescript), HTTP
-
1 years of experience consuming RESTful web services with SPAs (Single Page Applications)

1 years of experience with version control tools such as Git
-
2 years of experience developing, debugging and/or refactoring code
-
1 years of experience with the software development life-cycle
-
BA/BS degree or Associates degree with 1 year of experience.

Ability to work with cross-functional teams, understanding constraints, and use agile methodology and UX best practices

Experience working remotely in a highly collaborative environment

Problem-solving skills, an investigative mentality, and a proactive nature committed to delivering solutions

Experience with UI Component Libraries such as Material UI, Bootstrap, Semantic UI

AWS Certified Developer – Associate

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here. Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role
California: $73,900 - $115,100
Colorado: $73,900 - $99,400
New York City: $85,500 - $115,100
Washington: $78,600 - $105,900
