- Coordinate and supervisor the day-to-day activities of the clinic.

- Two to three years related healthcare management experience.
- Possess tact, patience, and a professional appearance and attitude.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Specific
- Provide Supervisory oversight to mandated clinic programs.
- Address issues with appropriate upper management.
- Knowledge of dental regulatory standards and ensure dental clinics are in compliance.
- Attend and actively participate in clinical staff meetings and in-service training.
- Maintain a monthly calendar for clinical requirements (spore tests, orders, meetings, etc.)
- Work cooperatively with ACCESS Family Care Practitioners and all staff to carry out the goals and objectives of ACCESS Family Care according to established policies and procedures.
- Ensure dental clinics are opened and closed daily, following specific guidelines.
- Train and supervise support staff, ensuring all competencies are achieved. Ensure appropriate duties are being performed in a timely manner.
- Ensure all logs are completed timely.
- Delegate duties of performing quality checks.
- Recommend and assist in the implementation of new process improvements as appropriate.
- Responsible for hiring, firing, and recommending changes to employee job status.
- Responsible for identifying poor performance and creating corrective action plans, counseling and disciplinary actions of support staff, including proper documentation of all incidents.
- Responsible for timely performance evaluations of support staff.
- Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the clinic to ensure clinics are run efficiently, identifying and implementing internal process improvements as needed.
- Responsible for authorizing leave requests and scheduling support staff as needed to achieve efficient operations.
- Create and maintain calendar for clinical rotation schedule.
- Provide leadership and guidance to all staff.
- Serves as a liaison between the dentist and support staff providing reports and feedback as needed to ensure communication.
- Complete required forms and follow up on maintenance requests as needed.
- Responsible for inventory control and management. Order and monitor inventory i.e., equipment and supplies and approves office supplies requests. Posts inventory/supplies needed and encourages assistants to post clinic supply needs.
- Responsible for improvements identified through Performance Improvement Plans. Prepares internal and external reports as required.
- Provides back up to all support staff and assists with duties of Front Desk and Dental Assistants as needed to ensure a smooth and efficient working environment.
- Assist with compiling patient records as needed for the practitioner’s review and/or mailing.
- Ensures HIPAA regulations are strictly adhered to.
- Ensures mail is picked up from Administration.
- Reviews records of patients sliding fee scale and income verification paperwork for accuracy.
- Ensures closing procedures are followed, balancing receipts and operating cash, and daily deposits are made at the appropriate bank.
- Monitors and ensures safety protocols are followed in patient care.
- Assists in resolving patient/customer complaints.
- Ensures clinic maintains good housekeeping.
- Tracks and investigates maintenance issues with equipment.
- Updates prices and sliding fees as necessary.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Dentrix and/or Centricity enterprise system.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The individual in this position will have mobility within the clinic, working in an office environment with minimal exposure to temperature changes, noise, and dust. Employee may be exposed to body fluids, including blood. Regular schedules are established to meet the needs of our patients. Evenings and Saturdays may be required. Overtime may be required occasionally, with flexible scheduling arrangements as approved. Occasional travel may be required. Typically, while performing the duties of this position the employee will sit for the majority of the workday. Close vision is required to perform the duties of this position.
