What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gate Host position at Access Management?
POSITION SUMMARY
To ensure all guests and buyers are welcome to the community and direct them accordingly, record all entries to the community, assist homeowners with entry gate operations, monitor gate system for maintenance related issues, and maintain Gate House exterior and interior to standard. Parttime position.
ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
The Gate Host reports directly to the Gate Host Supervisor.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Welcome ALL those approaching the entry gate using the community assigned script. This includes residents, their guests, potential purchasers, construction personnel, realtors, golfers, vendors, those attending the restaurant, and delivery services.
· Give appropriate direction to those visitors stopping at the gate to assure that all visitors enjoy their time at the community.
· Monitor delivery services and suspicious vehicles. Contact the homeowner or construction personnel prior to giving authorization for entry on all such cases.
· Control traffic at entry gates to prevent accidents and confusion.
· Complete all entry system documentation as required.
· Record keeping, log book entries, filling out electronic forms, filing, etc.
· Complete daily report logs of all activity.
· Register construction personnel with construction passes.
· Register realtors, both buying and selling agents.
· Facilitate instruction at the gate for new owners on gate system operations and access/directory codes.
· Monitor gates for maintenance related issues and contact Operations Manager accordingly.
· Set alarms daily and on-call for afterhours alarm calls.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS
· Previous customer service experience preferred.
· Experience in a continuous improvement environment is a plus.
· Possess a valid Driver’s License
· Record Keeping / Log Book experience preferred.
· Basic computer skills required.
