What are the responsibilities and job description for the Attorney position at AccessPT?
Access PT is growing physical therapy company headquartered in Campbell Hall, New York. We are seeking a full-time attorney for a hybrid position to serve as the company’s General Counsel to support our growth initiatives. The company currently has presence in (4) states with expansion strategies to increase our market share. This position must work out of the Administrative office located in Campbell Hall, NY.
The ideal candidate will have a broad corporate legal background with concentrations in, Mergers and Acquisition, Commercial leasing, labor and partnership agreements.
The position will work alongside C-Level management to,
1. Serve as general counsel and adviser to Executive management
2. Review and make recommendations on partnership agreements
3. Draft and advise on all Mergers and Acquisitions
4. Structure, draft and negotiate a variety of commercial leases and strategic partnerships that are critical to the company’s growth
5. Create scale-able processes and corporate library that can accept high growth
6. This is a hands-on role and you'll be expected to handle complex legal matters with short turnaround times
You should have the following:
1. JD and New York state bar membership or registered in-house attorney status in New York.
2. 7 years of relevant work experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department.
3. Experience with legal issues related to medical practices.
4. Strong commercial negotiation and drafting skills.
5. A practical, business-oriented approach and ability to translate legal issues into clear guidance for executive team.
6. Flexibility necessary to thrive at an ambitious, dynamic growth company.
7. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple critical projects and ability influence across departments.

Salary : $91,700 - $116,000
