This is a split position in outpatient with cross training to inpatient as needed Monday - Thursday.

This is a great opportunity for New Grads as well as seasoned therapists.
At Good Samaritan Hospital, you can expect to work with a large outpatient department with energetic multi-disciplinary staff. We have 4 support staff that do all scheduling, MD communication, cleaning, and restocking. Able to provide mentoring with a staff OT on-site that is cross trained, as well as the head of OT department as needed. All insurance information and billing is handled by other departments (not therapist's responsibility). Treatment model is no more than 2 patients per hour, with 1 hour long one-on-one evaluations. Many referring MDs are within the hospital system, which gives us great access to their clinical notes.
Hours: M/W 10am-7pm, Tu/Th 8am-5pm THis is a 32 hour / week opening however we will consider 40 hours for the right candidate

Physical Therapist Position Requirements:
Physical therapist, current or pending, license in the State of New York
Degree in physical therapy from an accredited physical therapy program
Excellent communication skills
Authorization to work in the US – will assist with H1 visa transfer & green card application
Experience in manual therapy, sports injury rehabilitation, and orthopedic rehabilitation is a plus!
