Full Charge Bookkeeper

Autoderiva is a small privately owned CNC machine shop seeking a contract or part time bookkeeper to manage the company's financial records.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Contract or Part Time Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Contract or Part Time Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our financial records and transactions. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in various financial software applications.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of all account balances
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Manage payroll processing, including payroll tax filings and reporting
- Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Stay updated on financial regulations and best practices

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of debits, credits, and general accounting principles
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliation and account reconciliation
- Proficiency in financial software applications such as Quicken or QuickBooks
- Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Knowledge of payroll processing and payroll tax regulations
- Solid understanding of financial concepts and terminology
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
