Job Description
You represent Fairmont Century Plaza with enthusiasm and pride, providing exceptional service and attention for each guest you encounter. You are entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring the best possible experience for your guests at all times.
What You Will Be Doing
- You deep clean and keep orderly all assigned areas
- You restock public restrooms, public areas, and heart of house areas with necessary supplies and ensure proper sanitation
- You stock, clean and organize all janitorial storages, ensuring they are supplied with the necessary items
- You complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision following a routine schedule of cleaning
- Discounted hotel rooms and food & beverage rates to employees at our sister properties around the globe.
- We provide learning programs through our Academies to promote growth and development so that you can perform at your full potential
- Opportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the world!
- Ability to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activities, like Planet 21 and WATCH
- Rate $22.64/hour
Your experience and skills include:
- Ability to work an overnight schedule
- Minimum one year experience in a janitorial role
- Previous hotel and customer service experience is an asset
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
