Job Description
- Oversees and manages strategic projects that positively contribute to the NE Franchise Operations KPIs. These projects represent key KPIs for the Global Organisation or Hub remit to report, troubleshoot problems or launch initiatives to reduce operational costs or waste.
- Provides leadership and guidance on data and design in line with BI concepts and principles.
- Advising at a strategic level at the project inception stage, including providing advice on the different approaches that can be adopted in order to achieve the team’s overall objectives successfully
- Supporting the strategic planning for the NE Franchise Operations team, delivering the long-term strategy into an annual plan;
- Branding, Marketing and Distribution. Coordination of all aspects relating to the three topics from signage, brand identity and design.
- Operational: coordination of all Head Office experts and link with the franchisee (procurement, IT, Distribution, Marketing, Sales, Revenue Management, T&C, eCommerce)
- Follow up and ensure adherence by setting appropriate actions (preventive and corrective) in line with the country’s objectives & brand policies.
- Promote and demonstrate the expertise and the added value of belonging to the Accor group to the Franchisees
- Ensure network consistency and the brand identity by closely monitoring the brand standards and working with operational colleagues
- Support the Franchisees in developing a business strategy for their hotels. Contribute to the results for the Franchise network by:
- guide the hotels in the Brand standards and policies
- advise on the proper market positioning and pricing
- foster the exchange of best practices between the hotels
- Analyse the potential malfunctions, and identify areas of improvement through corrective actions, with the Franchisee Hotel management
- Liaise with all the HO departments in order to action the appropriate strategy for each hotel. Liaise with the market leaders in order to set up the right strategy for the franchisees within the marketplace.
- Supporting strategic initiatives on a project basis in areas such as marketing strategy, marketing operations, stakeholder alignment and people value proposition;
- Creating a collaborative culture amongst colleagues and managing multiple regional and global projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree; MBA or other professional degree preferred
Professionally qualified (MCIOB / APM or similar)
Minimum of 5 years in Project Management roles
A proven track record of delivering high-quality end to end project management services
Ability to successfully manage and prioritise multiple projects
Experience in the hospitality industry (highly desirable)
Very well-organised, with an affinity for planning, combining both an appreciation of the big picture and an eye for detail
Able to build positive and respectful relationships at all levels across the business
Commercially focused, operationally strong, and strategically responsive
Demonstrates professional acumen, integrity, discretion, credibility, resilience & trustworthiness
Collaborative and works well within a team, but equally able to work on his/her/their initiative
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
