Company DescriptionAccord Services, a leader in private duty home health services, is now hiring CNAs in the Elijay area to care for our treasured clients.  If you are a compassionate, dependable, service oriented caregiver, we strongly encourage you to apply for an opening with us today to learn more about how Accord Services can help you realize your professional and personal goals.  Just a few of the perks we offer include:competitive pay ratesflexible scheduleshourly premiums for bilingual caregiversweekly paycheckssign-on bonuses (for qualified caregivers)health insurance (eligibility requirements apply)opportunity to work long term with the same client(s)Job DescriptionTo provide the highest quality of care to Accord Services clients utilizing the Plan of Care provided to ensure client’s needs are met in relation to safety, well-being and satisfaction.ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:•   Provide medical and personal care for the client based on individualized Plan of Care prepared by Nurse Supervisor available in the client’s home resulting in satisfaction for all parties involved•   Orient new caregivers to cases and clients’ plan of care resulting in clients’ clinical needs being met•   Provide prompt communication of changes in client medical status/emergencies to Nurse Supervisor resulting in effective management of cases•    Provide prompt communication of changes in clients/caregivers schedules (i.e. tardiness, vacation, requested time-off, change of status, reduction in hours, etc.) to Staffing Coordinators resulting in effective management of cases•    To drive/escort client to and from appointments/activities as requested, utilizing client vehicle, resulting in a safe and timely transport•    Call in to Staffing Coordinator to confirm weekly schedules resulting in required coverage being met•   Provide accurate and timely required documentation (i.e. declining to participate in all parts of Plan of Care) ensuring  effective management of cases and DHR compliance•    Other duties as assigned or neededQualificationsCNA requirements:High school diploma/GEDCPR certificationCurrent TB skin test or Chest X-rayCertificate from accredited nursing programvalid drivers license (if assigned to a case with driving privileges)Previous experience is preferred, but not requiredAdditional InformationAccord Services is growing, and we’re always interested in speaking to talented, driven, compassionate individuals that would like to join our family and make a difference in their community.
