Some of the Job Details: - Listen-Learn-Lead: Model the mission and values of Accord, helping people to live their greatest lives.
- Provide flexible, individualized employment supports to individuals eligible for the Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VRS) program.
- Expand services to new populations, including youth in transition. Build relationships with schools to promote employment discovery and development among youth ages 14 to 21.
- Demonstrate expertise in VRS billing and service delivery.
- Maintain a caseload of up to 25 people.
- Attend all required annual and other meetings, demonstrating a high level of professional oral communication and genuine care for the person served.
- Demonstrate strong written communication skills; complete all required paperwork to comply with licensing and funding sources such as annual reviews.
- Document all services provided in the selected electronic health record/database system within 1 business day.
- Meet or exceed minimum billing standards; maximize revenue under the VRS program.
- As a mandated reporter, respond and report all incidents that occur while providing services to protect the health and safety of and minimize risk of harm to the person(s) served following Accord’s policy and MN Statutes
- Demonstrate professional communication with interdisciplinary team members including the person supported, family caregivers and guardians, employers, case managers, and other involved stakeholders.
- Represent the agency to the people we serve, our community partners and external constituents. Serve as a positive role model for other employees.
- Provide transportation as needed to individuals served.
- Complete all required and assigned training related to the position
- Travel throughout the Twin Cities Metropolitan area to job sites and meeting locations; limited overnight travel possible.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Education:
● Bachelor’s degree in Vocational Rehabilitation or related human services field preferred. If you hold a Social Work degree, we expect you to be licensed by the Minnesota Board of Social Work, as required.You need passion to make a difference, and the desire to learn!
Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of Vocational Rehabilitation Services system, documentation requirements, and funding requirements.
- Ability to complete Discovering Personal Genius training and demonstrate competence in training principles.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle. A motor vehicle check (MVR)with a satisfactory driving record is required. Approved Background check is required.
