Job Description
What you will be doing: Including the following. Other duties may be assigned
- Generate all necessary management report and distribute as per night manager checklist.
- Generate preliminary closing reports as described in Night Manager checklist:
- Balance credit cards to credit card detail report
- Balance misc. charge and adjustment vouchers to "D-Card"
- Balance remaining work to "D-Card"
- Run final and complete system back-up
- Help management apply the credit policy and guest billing correctly.
- Assure VIP guest procedures are followed.
- Keep up with daily logbook entries.
- Problem solving for all departments at all times.
- Liaison between hotel and guests- satisfy guest needs, handle complaints.
- Assure hotel policies and procedures are followed.
- Act as member of the Emergency Response Team, responding in cases of fire, accident, safety concerns and calls for medical assistance.
- Ensure any violations to the law or hotel policy are investigated and reported.
- Respond to all emergency situations and provide First Aid & C.P.R. as required.
- Correct and report any fire hazards or health and safety hazards.
- Respond to minor maintenance issues throughout the property as needed.
- Conduct regular floor patrols, cash counts and crowd control.
- Report and investigate occurrences of accidents, complaints, criminal activity and crisis situations.
- Know all hotel emergency procedures and be able to manage all emergencies.
- First Aid, AED, Fire Extinguisher and other security knowledge and training required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES
Supervise all employees who have direct contact with the guests in the lobby. Perform all the tasks listed including patrolling buildings, parking lots, grounds and locking doors and setting alarms.
