What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Analyst position at Accounting Principals?
A company in the Seattle, WA area is partnering with Accounting Principals to search for a permanent Analyst for their team. Your main tasks will be to support the finance team in gathering department results, assist with revenue recognition, FP&A projects, and analyze financials. In order to be considered for this, you must have a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and at least three years of analysis experience. The hiring manager would like to hire someone who has a similar industry experience to manufacturing as well. Since you will utilize a lot of BI tools, it’s preferred that you have worked with Power BI or Tableau and have worked on an ERP system as well. This company is working fully remote at this point, but they would like you to be located close to one of their offices in case they change their policy. This position
Main Responsibilities:
Coordinate and gather departmental reports for budgeting purposes
Capture data to build financial models for management
Forecasting department budgets and research variances
Assist in the analysis of financials for KPIs
Coordinate with management to interpret reports and create solutions
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field
At least three years of analysis experience
Previous knowledge of the manufacturing industry is preferred
Background in accounting or strong understanding of financial statements
Previous experience with Power BI or Tableau
Professional communication skills
