The AE Training/Field Specialist will assist the Director in various duties involved in maintaining the program within the college's service area. Under supervision of the Director, these duties include, but are not limited to, assistance in implementing program objectives, analyzing program data, and designing professional development to ensure staff is up to date on latest methods when working with students.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
1. Assist in the implementation and administration of Career Pathways program, as required by the Adult Education division of the ACCS.2. Assist in the oversight of the Adult Education Pathways Coaches; ensure students receive the guidance they need to participate in the Pathways program.3. Serve as liaison between internal partners (i.e., College/Workforce/Technical Education faculty/staff, advisors, administrator, etc.) and external partners (i.e. , Career Centers,Workforce Development office personnel, industry Partners, etc.).4. Advise students regarding information related to classes, GED, career pathways and related issues.5. Assist in the development and administration of professional development training for faculty and staff, both on-line and on-site.6. Assist in the review and analysis of relevant data as collected by the Adult Education data management system.7. Review data with instructors, as needed, to discuss positive areas and best-practices as well as challenging areas and program improvement needs.8. Develop internal reports as needed utilizing Adult Education date management system and other relevant data.9. Provide oversight to the orientation process and personnel, ensuring orientation sessions are up-to-date and relevant to the needs of the program, both on and off- site.10. Assist in the preparation and administration of grants, projects and reports as required.11. Work with college's marketing team to provide effective marketing and recruiting for the program within the Adult Education service area.12. Represent Adult Education program at community events.13. Serve as a liaison between area high schools and Adult Education program.14. Perform related duties as assigned.
