Summary:
The Shipping Clerk is needed to support the Site Supervisor and Plant Manager in handling verbal and written instructions and documents for shipping/receiving and inventory. Process paperwork for outbound shipments
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to Customer Service changes to scheduled shipments. Notify supervisor of completed changes
- Maintain raw material inventories
- Make corrections to pick tickets when Customer Service makes changes. Process changes in either system through reprinting and electronically within the system
- Ensure Bill of Ladings are signed by the carrier and put door seal on the outbound trailers
- Back up other shippers in the routine duties related to order picking and warehouse planning
Qualifications:
- Must be proficient with computers and RF scanning
- Prior experience in Shipping and Receiving in a manufacturing environment would be preferred, but not required
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team based setting with minimal supervision

Must be on their feet all day; standing, stooping, squatting, and reaching can be expected along with lifting of up to 45 lbs.
