Material Handler - Chem Weigh

Material Handler, Job, 1st Shift 

Accupac is hiring a full-time Material Handler to join our 1st shift in Souderton, PA. 
 
Material Handler Basic Job Functions: 

 
The Material Handler is responsible for performing the physical unloading, loading, transfer, storage, shipping, physical handling, and movement of all materials throughout Accupac’s warehouse facilities. The Material Handler will report to the Lead Chemical Weigh Technician. Daily responsibilities include verifying, counting and inventorying materials. Additionally, this role will regularly load and unload trucks/trailers and perform proper daily maintenance of all warehouse material handling equipment. This role requires constant good housekeeping and cleanliness in accordance with all cGMP and FDA regulations while adhering to all Department and Company SOP’s.  

Material Handler Essential Functions: 

• Load and Unload trucks/trailers. 

• Prepare materials for proper identification, sampling, and warehouse storage. 

• Verify, count and inventory materials. 

• Proper daily maintenance and care of all warehouse material handling equipment. 

• Maintain a clean work environment in accordance with all cGMP and FDA regulations. 

• Stretch wrap pallets of raw materials, packaging components and finished goods. 

• Comply with all safety rules and regulations. 

Material Handler Position Requirements: 

• Ability to efficiently and safely operate assigned forklift and industrial equipment used to move and store materials throughout the production plant and warehouses. 

• Possess basic math skills. 

• Attention to detail and ability to read and interpret instructions and warning placards. 

• Ability to work different shifts, hours, and overtime on short notice. 

• Ability to sustain at least one (1) hour of strenuous activity with the ability to lift 50 lbs. from the floor to waist level.  

• Must have Forklift Operator’s License.  

• High School Diploma or GED.
