Accurate Marine Environmental (AME) specializes in bilge and tank cleaning, chemical cleaning, gas free engineering, and the removal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials for the marine and commercial industry. AME provides 24/7 Oil Spill Response and Pollution Abatement as Coast Guard certified OSRO organization.


JOB TITLE: Contract Administrator/Estimator


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support all aspects of contract administration, ensuring adherence to performance, schedule, and cost requirements.
  • Review proposed and negotiated contracts thoroughly to verify pricing, schedules, and terms meet company standards.
  • Monitor contract performance closely, ensuring delivery schedules and terms are upheld.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure contract compliance, including interpreting contract language for production teams.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing issues related to progress, quality, costs, and other contractual matters.
  • Review and negotiate contract modifications for accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage multiple contracts simultaneously, including negotiations and dispute resolution.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or equivalent.
  • 5-7 years of federal government contracting experience, including familiarity with FAR/DFARS regulations.
  • Knowledge of ship construction and repair terminology.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
