What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Painter position at Ace Corporation?
We are hiring Painters for Year-Round Work. Fulltime with Overtime available in several Maine cities (Portland, Lewiston, Augusta, Bangor, and many more)
ACE Painting was created with a paintbrush and a dream amongst 3 college students. Established in 2001, ACE Painting has grown into the largest commercial painting company in Maine. Working on all-size projects in Maine.
Responsibilities
Prepares surfaces and applies paints and other coating materials to a variety of interior and exterior surfaces and structures. The use of scaffolding, ladders, staging, and scissor/boom lifts at various heights is required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Personalities
- Work safely and comply with all OSHA and company guidelines
- Work in a team and coordinate work functions with fellow workers.
- Follow oral and written instructions.
- Coordinate/communicate with other trades for the purpose of completing projects efficiently.
- Work while wearing required personal protective equipment.
- Safely operate equipment using a variety of standardized methods.
- Adapt to changing working conditions
- Perform heavy physical labor and manual dexterity, including bending, crawling, kneeling, stooping, climbing, twisting, reaching, carrying, and lifting heavy objects weighing up to 75lbs.
- Bend, crawl, walk, kneel, sit, and stand for extended periods of time
- Work in varying and sometimes inclement weather conditions
- Work as a self-motivated team player
Requirements:
Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical.
Have reliable transportation to and from the Job Site. (Be able to commute within 40 miles from your home residence.)

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
