Position Summary
In this position, your responsibilities will encompass conducting essential routine tests (Bioburden Silicone, Particle, Endotoxin) essential for facilitating product release, which includes water testing and environmental monitoring. You will also be available to assist with various laboratory tasks as required.
This role is designated for the second shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
Essential Position Requirements
- Conduct routine testing for product release, encompassing tasks such as bacterial endotoxin, bioburden, particulate, silicone testing, and more.
- Carry out routine testing in support of plant operations, including responsibilities like environmental monitoring in Clean Rooms, water testing, etc.
- Execute incoming testing for materials, including growth promotion testing in culture media and biological indicator testing.
- Demonstrate experience in working within ISO Cleanrooms, including gowning procedures and monitoring.
- Prepare and maintain controlled forms, SOIs (Standard Operating Instructions), and general laboratory documentation.
- Generate trends and technical reports based on data, under the guidance of Lab Management.
- Participate in laboratory projects such as method transfers, verifications, validations, and equipment qualification.
- Isolate and cultivate bacterial or other microorganism cultures for future research and perform microbial identification.
- Provide support to the Lab Supervisor and Lab Manager during internal, corporate, and customer audits.
- Collaborate effectively within a team to drive continuous improvement in laboratory functions.
- Participate in or assist with the identification, investigation (OOS's - Out of Specifications), and resolution of laboratory issues.
- Develop proficiency in various analytical techniques.
- Adhere to the company's Guiding Principles and comply with the corporate Code of Conduct.
- Ensure compliance with all local Environmental Health and Safety regulations and contribute to enhancing safety in the laboratory.
- Maintain regular, reliable, punctual, and predictable attendance.
Qualifications/ preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or a related scientific field.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in a laboratory setting or a comparable role.
- Background in Microbiology and Particulate testing.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is considered an advantage.
- Experience in a cGMP-related industry.
- Strong IT skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capacity to stay informed about all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as outlined in Company policies pertaining to this job description.
- Active participation and contribution to Lean Sigma programs and initiatives aimed at achieving established targets.
- Consistent adherence to the company's safety policies.
- Dedicated compliance with the company's quality policies at all times.

Salary: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per hour
