Tooling Technician | Shift = M- F (7 am – 3:30pm)

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering tool and mold drawings and schematics.
- Build and repair high-precision tools and mold components.
- Possess working knowledge of the heat treatment process for tool steels.
- Operate band saws, drill presses, CNC mills, manual lathes, and grinders.
- Analyze specifications, grind, fabricate, and repair metalworking dies, cutting tools, jigs, and fixtures.
- Read blueprints and use micrometers, calipers, and comparators.
- Perform tooling repairs and ensure proper metal fits.
- Troubleshoot maintenance repairs and fabricate machine parts, dies, etc.
- Experience with Engel, Milacron, Nissei, or other machines, lathes, and mills.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma/ Associates Degree & 3 years of experience years of experience in the tool or molding trade
- Experience with mold repair a bonus
