Counter Sales Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers into the store; engage in friendly conversation; answer any inquiries
- Check store voicemails daily and return calls in a timely manner
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Tag in repairs, process in software and ship
- Maintain visual standards of store at all times organize stock
- Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, seasonal and yearly basis
- Be knowledgeable about in-store and Ecommerce products, Promotions and Sales
- Process POS sales, purchases, returns, store credits, exchanges, etc.
- Contribute to teamwork by accomplishing related tasks, stock, outdoor display
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, inside and outside, for customers and staff
- Additional tasks as assigned by supervisor and management
Counter Sales Qualifications: High school diploma and 3 years of relevant experience in high-end retail.
Counter Sales Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Communicate with and assist all types of customers using clear and appropriate vocabulary via phone orders and Live Chat and person to person
- Communicate with Ace Tool Managers on store operations
- Have good social and selling skills
- Have a polite attitude, even in demanding situations
- Professional and grammatically correct emails sent to customers for selling purposes
- Company paperwork filled out efficiently and effectively
- Customer phone orders and Live Chat noted clearly and in detail
- Professional image at all time
- Good listening skills to utilize for selling and training
- Organized with great follow-up skills
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a must
Sales Associate Physical Demands: In general, a moderate degree of physical stamina is required to perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is regularly required to move around the store, including the upstairs level stock room, and prolonged periods of standing are often necessary. The employee frequently reaches with hands and arms, with some bending and twisting, to retrieve and hang merchandise, as well as to vacuum and mop. Stress may result from work demands, including busy holiday seasons and interaction with difficult customers.
