Job Title: Freight Broker - Outside Sales (Commission Only)

This position is commission-only and requires candidates to bring their own customers or have a well-established book of business in the freight industry.

Responsibilities:

Generate New Business: Utilize your existing network and industry knowledge to acquire new clients and build lasting relationships.

Customer Retention: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.

Negotiation: Negotiate rates and terms with shippers and carriers to maximize profitability and provide competitive solutions.

Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all transactions and shipments.

Qualifications:

Proven Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in outside sales, preferably in the freight or logistics industry.

Customer Base: Must bring an existing customer base or book of business in the freight industry.

Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective negotiation and relationship-building.

Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate effectively to achieve mutually beneficial agreements with clients and carriers.

Self-Motivated: A self-starter with a proactive approach to sales and business development.

Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using relevant technology and software for freight brokerage.

Transportation Knowledge: Understanding of transportation, logistics, and supply chain processes.

Compensation:

This position is commission-only, offering competitive commission rates. Your earnings potential is unlimited and directly tied to your sales success.
