Director of Operations - Title and Registration

ACERTUS is an automotive logistics company that offers portfolio of services that span across the vehicle lifecycle. As the Director of Operations, you will lead day-to-day operations with a focus on growth and profitability, streamlining processes for efficiency, developing a team, and monitoring KPI metrics to analyze performance.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am – 5pm

Pay: based on experience

What will you be doing?

• Develop a strategic plan to achieve department and company goals, communicating them to the organization clearly and effectively.
• Map processes to analyze performance, drive efficiencies, and achieve goals.
• Oversee the staffing of each region to hire top talent.
• Partner with each department to ensure everythig is running smoothly.
• Monitor the volume of work to ensure adequate team resources are in place.
• Coach and develop the management team, helping them align their teams to achieve KPI metrics.
• Assist in creating standard operating procedures to hold teams accountable.
• Ensure compliance and oversees high level claims.
• Vet the carrier base and assists with problem-solving escalated issues.

• Lead multiple projects from concept to full integration
• Personal responsibility to manage change.

What are we looking for?

• This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Business Management or similar field.
• Must have five to ten years of operations leadership.
• A background in logistics is preferred.
• Previous experience leading a team is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and other general office equipment.
• Ability to establish a plan while influencing and motivating performance to reach company metrics and goals.
• Ability to build strong customer relationships and deliver an exceptional experience.
• Ability to proactively research and resolve problems.
• Ability to work cross-functionally to attain goals and improve processes.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge of general project management.
