Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated is a Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) system engineering and information technology firm, headquartered in Maryland and Virginia. Incorporated in 1999, we support mission critical Information Technology (IT) business needs for clients within the intelligence community (IC), Department of Defense (DOD), Veteran Administration (VA) and for select commercial clients. ACET, Inc.’s technical, programmatic, and analytical professionals are experts in commercial technology, customized solutions, and proprietary government systems.
ACET is seeking a Quality Manager in our Patuxent River, MD location.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Government and Contractor Senior Management to maintain Quality Assurance and safety programs, to include policies, processes, procedures, and controls.
- Ensure contract performance conforms to established standards and Government Agency guidelines.
- Manage/supervise contractor Aircraft Quality Control Inspectors and Inspection (Quality) Department including inspection requirements, trend analysis, technical order publication library, maintenance training programs, and functional check flight programs.
- Prepare/manage audits QA/Safety/Hazardous material programs required by government/service/base regulations and instructions.
- Provide timely responses and corrective actions to customer concerns and findings.
- Maintain awareness of regulatory changes and disseminates safety-related bulletins, technical changes, and literature to worksite Personnel.
- Assist in the development of the site policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical/business discipline or six additional years’ experience
- Minimum eight (8) years' experience performing responsibilities as a Quality Assurance Representative or equivalent.
- Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of quality management concepts, techniques, tools and procedures.
- Must have completed the Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS) (Optimized) Organizational Level Maintenance Activity (OMA) Naval Aviation Quality Assurance Administration Course (Course C-555-0046
- Throughout knowledge of the CNAFINST 4790.2 series
- Knowledge of DCMAINST 8210.1/NAVAIR 3710.1G preferred
- Secret clearance required.
