We are looking for an experienced licensed (FIRNA Series 7 and 66) Wealth Advisor to join our growing team! We will be looking to add a candidate for our Murdoch, North Port, and Punta Gorda branch territory. This position has a $70,000 forgivable draw for the first two years. Position Duties & Responsibilities
- Partnership with territory Associate Wealth Advisor (if applicable) to tier service delivery to support scalable growth.
- Develop holistic goals-based plans tailored to individual member needs and circumstances, emphasizing tax-smart investment strategies.
- Guide members through various wealth management competencies, including retirement planning, income planning, tax-smart investing, risk management (life, disability, and long-term care insurance), legacy planning, and education cost planning.
- Analyze investments, recommend suitable securities and products, and actively manage member relationships aligned with their risk tolerance, goals, and circumstances.
- Clearly explain financial concepts, strategies, and risks relatable and engagingly.
- Conduct ongoing client reviews, monitor performance, and make recommendations as needed.
- Build strong relationships with members, fostering trust and understanding their evolving needs.
- Participate in internal training and development opportunities to stay abreast of trends and regulatory changes.
- Understand and comply with all aspects of Credit Union and broker-dealer policies and procedures, including laws and regulations governing investment and insurance sales duties and responsibilities.
- Maintain an ongoing client relationship by conducting periodic reviews with each client.
- Collaborate with all credit union departments to create a team environment and meet members' needs. This includes referring members to other areas, as appropriate (banking, lending, insurance, etc).
- Providing feedback to referring individuals and departments on the status of the referral.
- Generate additional referrals from personal networking, seminars, and presentations to community groups, including but not limited to: CPAs, attorneys, and other centers of influence.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or equivalent) licenses required.
- Successful obtainment of an advanced designation within two years of hire is mandatory.
- 2 years of experience as a Financial Advisor or a similar financial planning role.
- Previous retail banking experience preferred.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing recommendations for clients with diverse needs and goals.
- Knowledge of investment regulations and compliance.
- Passion for helping others achieve financial success.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Client-centric approach with a focus on building trust and long-term relationships.
- Ability, skill, and desire to deliver engaging seminars (virtual and in-person) to increase value and foster referrals.
