Job Title: Operations Analyst I
Location: Hybrid FC- 3 days a week onsite and two days remote
Duration: 6 Months
Description:
No pharma experience required, strong/confident ability to speak to data in Excel

• Strictly complying with contract terms and SOX controls to manage day-to-day activities of Gilead’s Trade organization within Managed Markets Strategy & Operations (MSO) department
• Evaluating daily orders received from direct customers against inventory data feeds to ensure contractually defined inventory limits are not exceeded.
• Monitoring internal metric reports to identify when direct customers are running low on inventory and proactively reaching out to buyers to understand their stocking plans.
• Engaging with indirect customers, in cooperation with the sales team, to understand stocking issues in the field and communicate them appropriately to buyers and account management
• Reviewing direct and indirect customer returns, leveraging reports and resources to apply the appropriate credit values according to Gilead’s return policies.
• Collaborating with 3rd party logistics service providers and data warehouse vendors
• Cross-functionally supporting internal colleagues (e.g., Supply Chain, Legal, Finance, Quality, IT, Audits, etc.) to work toward Gilead’s business goals & objectives
• Following Gilead’s policies to maintain and improve the company’s level of customer service to direct and indirect customers.
• Serving as a resource to colleagues within the Trade organization (Operations, Strategy, Contracting, and Relations) to support contracting strategy, analytics, and recommendations
• Performing ad-hoc reporting, analytics, and documentation requests according to business need
Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics, Finance, Engineering or related fields
• 3 years of pharmaceutical or biotech industry preferred
• Able to multi-task, self-start, and dynamically prioritize ad-hoc deliverables versus day-to-day tasks with high attention to detail and a professional demeanor in a deadline intensive environment
• Able to analyze data from multiple sources and communicate findings in a clear and organized manner
• Able to make decisions, influence peers, and solve problems while working collaboratively and respectfully in a team structure
• Demonstrated ability to effectively and productively communicate both orally and in writing
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Advanced in Excel) is required
• Working knowledge of contracts and regulations, advisories, methodologies, and standard operating procedures is preferred
• Industry knowledge of pharmaceutical business standards and regulations is preferred
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle/SAP), Business Intelligence (OBIEE), Trade data platforms (Integrichain or Valuecentric), EDI data sets (852/867), and visualization tools (Tableau) is preferred.
Salary : $38 - $40
